DePauw engaged Moran Technology Consulting (MTC) to help the university determine if it should invest in its current ERP solution or replace it by using a three-part approach.

DePauw University (DePauw) is a private university in Greencastle, Indiana. Founded in 1837, its student body has about 1,750 students. DePauw is a member institution of the Annapolis Group, a consortium of national independent colleges that share a commitment to liberal arts values and education.

DePauw engaged Moran Technology Consulting (MTC) to help the university determine if it should invest in its current ERP solution or replace it by using a three-part approach.

First, MTC spoke with stakeholders from each of the functional areas, the administration, and information technology team to understand their experience with the current ERP system. The consulting team compiled high-level needs based on these discussions and delivered their findings to the university.

Second, MTC provided an analysis of the current ERP market (including Finance, HCM and Student Information) for schools like DePauw – both in size and based on its specific needs.

Third, using information from stakeholder interviews and ERP offerings, MTC delivered an ERP roadmap to help the university move forward with confidence based on its unique needs and market offerings.
